Clancy is a shaggy, clumsy Clydesdale who has huge, hairy hooves. One day when he finds himself in a pasture of sleek racehorses and their colts, he decides to try to make friends.
As he gallops unsteadily across the pasture toward the horses, Clancy is dismayed when they run away from him. Sadly, he cannot understand why he is not like the others and only wants to feel like he belongs. After he trips over his hooves and they make fun of him, he begins to cry and decides to stay away from the racehorses. But it is not until a storm rolls in and causes a dangerous situation that Clancy is finally able to show all the other horses just how special he is. In this entertaining tale, a big, clumsy Clydesdale who has a hard time fitting in becomes a hero and saves the day for an entire farm of racehorses.
