With the exceptions of the Aramaic, Jesus Christ gave us the Word of His Gospel in the Hebrew and a few words in the Aramaic The Bible was originally written in Greek by the Apostles in the first century. Later, Franz Delitzsch compiled the Hebrew version translating it from the original Greek. His work is known as "The Textus Receptus" in Greek. Most of the New Testament Books as we know them were written originally in the Greek by the Evangelists, even though, there are other versions like the Syriac. But I can imagine for the Gospel writers, while writing in Greek, Jesus Christ's beautiful and blessed Words still were reverberating in their minds in the original Hebrew and the Aramaic languages. First Peter 1:1-2 "Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ. v2) To the pilgrims of the dispersion ..... " James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad." (The Diaspora, "Hannefotzeem)." The work of this Book is dedicated to the many Jewish people who are dispersed throughout the world, and to the many who are beginning to know their ancestors roots.
