Jesus addressed all sections of the community. There were the masses who followed him, the twelve whom he chose, the professional scribes and Pharisees and the religious leaders. He had a different approach to each. The overall message was the same. It is God’s message to us. Jesus said does not try to form a doctrine out of the sayings of Jesus, or to fit them into a doctrine. It simply aims to uncover what Jesus said.
