Nicole’s Rainy Day Adventure is inspired by the Covid-19 ordeals when families were forced to stay indoors. Many parents struggled to keep children engaged and optimistic. Children longed to play outdoors and to meet up with friends. Some got depressed, others threw tantrums and many relied on technology for entertainment. This children’s book brings awareness of the natural world, encourages appreciation and optimism and teaches the importance of controlling emotions. Most importantly, it adds an air of positivity by reminding families of the many ways they could enjoy time together at home.
