My description of my book is (no more than 150 words): This poetry collection was written over the course of sixteen months - from January 2020 to April of 2021- and is intended as a companion to my previous collection: Providence in the Fall of a Sparrow. In poem sixty of Providence - the final poem of that collection - I called on the listener to "paint thunder." It was a metaphor I couldn't shake off and I've used it as the seminal metaphor in the creation of this collection. As my readers will know, my life has been a stormy one, so it is not a difficult task for me to paint thunder. Whether I've done it well is for you to determine.
