When I was a young boy my most exciting times were hearing stories. Stories told to me by my grandparents. I was born in 1937 and was a young boy during World War II. I lived with my grandparents for over two years while my dad was in the army. There was no TV and very little on the radio to keep young people interested. So, it was stories, stories that were told over and over. I will always remember most of these stories and have shared most of them with my children and grandchildren. I am happy to share these stories and hope you will enjoy them. I have written most of these stories and some were told by my grandparents. There will always be story tellers. But not everyone has the desire to tell stories. I think we need to share these stories and never think they will not be read and enjoyed. This is my first book of short stories to be published. I have published three other books including, The Shoebox, The Saloon and Total Commitment. All of these are available at iUniverse, Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
