The Book of Norman is an autobiography of the adventures of a young bull calf during the first few months of his life. It begins with his stay at the OSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Stillwater, Oklahoma up to his journey back home to his owners Bob and Sandy Carroll of Bristow, Oklahoma. It was written by Tracey Alden then a veterinary student at OSU who then became a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She took care of Norman during his stay at the hospital and was instrumental in getting him back home to his family.
