Annie (King) Wilkins told stories of her probable odyssey from a young girl growing up on South Hampton Island in coastal Georgia. She narrated her life story to her grandchildren over the years and told how she is the descendant of Roswell King III, who is the grandson of Roswell King Sr. Roswell King Sr. was once a slave owner in coastal Georgia, and later co-founder of the city of Roswell, Georgia north of Atlanta. With his entrepreneurial skill, he was able to build tremendous wealth leaving an inheritance to his family. Roswell King III left a living trust to his second family in coastal Georgia. The betrayal, lies, and deception by the King's family members deliberately kept the trust away from the rightful owners, which is the second family; the black family. This King family inheritance has not yet been resolved. Danny Jones is a father of two daughters and one granddaughter. He is a retired United States Navy veteran. There, he worked as an aircraft maintenance technician and a navy instructor, where he wrote curriculums for aircraft maintenance. In the military, his services include War in the Persian Gulf: Operation of Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm on board two different aircraft carriers. After retiring from the Navy, he works as a Quality Process Engineer at Enkei which manufactures Aluminum wheels for vehicles. Reading and researching family and ancestry history is his passion. His grandmother, Annie (King) Wilkins, was very instrumental to him to learn more about his family history. His uncle, Firmon Wilkins, encouraged him at a very young age to write a book about the family's history. Danny's eagerness for knowing about history and the truth is of significant importance to his life.
