When we look around us, we can see God's hand at work in Creation! If we are open to Him, and know His word, He can teach us, reach us, and correct us through the natural world. The sight of a hummingbird or a butterfly can fill us with joy and wonder, knowing the vast journeys they take, led by the mighty hand of their Creator. The flower gardens in spring are full of beautiful blossoms that no clothing designer can rival. Because of the examples in nature, we know He leads us and cares for us as well. He has given us that promise in His Word. Every day, all year long God shows us His wonders both in His Word, and in the world around us. Because we are human, our memories sometimes need a nudge to see Him and His world rightly. Deborah E. Kaye is an avid reader and writer who grew up in rural Nova Scotia, the third of eight children. She was a teacher in public and private schools in Yarmouth for many years, and then Ministry Assistant at Hebron Baptist Church for sixteen years. She and her husband, Dennis, have three sons, four grandsons and two granddaughters. As well as reading and writing she enjoys photography and gardening.
