The Gospel According to Saint Baby Boomer is a tongue in cheek way of describing how I, as a woman born in the generation after World War II came to be able to proclaim my faith in Jesus Christ. This book is collection of personal reflections, memories, contemplation on scripture, and discussions about faith issues concerning the baby boomer generation. All of the offerings included in the volume were either shared online in blogs, or sent as messages to friends and family members as journal entries when I was overseas in mission. There are also memories of earlier times when I was an Air Force officer. Many of the reflections were written after deliberately going out into nature to spend time aside with the Lord. The Gospel According to Saint Baby Boomer sharing all of these offerings to encourage people to seek a deeper relationship with God in Jesus Christ. Kathleen Ware Harris, D. Min. has been a pastor, evangelist, spiritual director, and missionary. Having a B.A. in Russian from the University of Illinois, she was an Air Force intelligence officer involved with developments in space, missile, nuclear and advanced weapons; Soviet military and political affairs. After leaving active duty, she worked at Kennedy Space Center until she answered her call to ministry. Between the early 1990s and 2011, Dr Harris studied at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D. C., receiving a Master of Divinity degree in Urban Ministry; a Master of Theological Studies degree in Ethics and Public Policy with a focus on the dilemma of arms control in the post Soviet era and a Doctorate of Ministry in Missional Evangelism. Her doctoral project was a seminar in Russian for the United Methodist Church in the former Soviet Union that she developed while in mission there between 2008 and 2011.
