Kimberlie has a younger brother and an older sister. The inspiration for this book came from her life experiences and personal struggles. Kimberlie felt alone and felt like God abandoned her (even though she knew He hadn't). In Kimberlie's struggles with drugs, mental, physical, and sexual abuse, and even suicidal thoughts, she knew God was with her. If it was not for Him, Kimberlie would not be here today.
