Mochrie has had the drug trade in Vermont sewn up for years. Not a bar, ski resort, or nightclub that hasn’t felt the effects of his trade. That has been the case until the Rutland Police Department canine unit trained its first drug dog and handler. Now profits are being cut into and that dog must go. A hit on a dog, can he be serious? He instructs his men to the task. Fortunately, the hit got botched and Grady the dog officer ends up in New York drugged and confused. He is befriended by a young man named Andy, and Bo becomes his new name. Bo makes a great addition to the home, as he is very protective of Andy and his Mom. However, her boyfriend Hank is another story. Something is just not right and Bo can sense it. This is the second book by author Ralph F. Deso, the first being The Chesapeake Incident. Ralph is a retired Property and Casualty Agency owner. He worked along with his three sons, of which two of them now own the agency. The third son fulfilled his dream of becoming a school teacher. A veteran of the Navy and Army National Guard. Ralph was deployed to Ground Zero after the terrorist attacks on 9/11 he worked with first responders and witnessed the devastation firsthand. He has been married to his wife Barbara for 54 years and they have 6 grandchildren. Retirement has allowed Ralph to write, which has always been a lifelong dream.
