Memories are powerful and wonderful. They help us reflect on who we are and how we have gotten to where we are today. They should be shared with others, especially family and friends, to help keep our stories and history alive. Memories can be happy, sad, good, and/or bad. Some are better remembered than others, but they cannot be changed, They are a part of us. Examine and reflect on them from time to time, as I have. Enjoy my memories and remember your own. Treasure them all. Inspired by another book of memories, Rivers of Wind, the author grew up in Southeastern Colorado but has since lived in several other central states in the US. She has also enjoyed employment in various industries including food, oil and gas, insurance, and banking. She is a graduate of Nazarene Bible College, graduating at the age of 60. She now serves as a volunteer at a local hospital. Widowed for many years, she has two children and currently lives in Oklahoma with her daughter and two cats.
