Reading through the 66 books of the Bible for 10-consecutive years; and the Spiritual Growth I experienced during the year 2019 is the basis for this memoir. I am convinced that in these last days: every child of God will need to make an intentional effort to listen for the voice of The Holy Spirit; to obey the voice of The Holy Spirit; and to walk daily with The Holy Spirit!!! For just as the Forerunner as recorded in Luke 1:17 (NASB) prepared the hearts of the people for the First coming of our Savior in the forerunner’s days on earth: we who live in these last days must do our individual and collective part in preparing God’s people for the Second appearance of our Savior. These last days as told by Scripture; and as illustrated by world events: provide an Eternal Testimony to the Supreme importance of the indwelling work of The Holy Spirit in every member of The Body of Christ. It is therefore my hope and prayer that this short memoir will serve as my Personal Testimony to The Holy Spirit; and that all who read this short memoir will receive a Rhema Word from The Holy Spirit!!! Melvin J. Pruitt was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He accepted Christ at an early age and since childhood, he has maintained a profound interest in the Word of God. His passion for God’s Word has resulted in a call to write. Melvin previously worked in healthcare for over 20 years and is a retired Family Nurse Practitioner.
