In the book, Dear younger me, Elizabeth describes the years of child abuse by that of friends, family and people in authority. It’s not a book of despair but one of triumph and victory that she hopes can help others dealing with similar traumas. In this book she talks about what her younger self needed to hear at the time she was experiencing so much chaos. It’s a documentary she wrote that compelled her to heal and extending her life as depicted in this book to hopefully encourage others to do the same. Elizabeth Perez was born in San Diego, CA. She is a wife and a mother of 2 toddlers. She began writing just before the covid 19 virus struck the world and was inspired to share her life with you to show the power of God and help those who want to experience freedom in a world where freedoms are being gradually taken away. She shares childhood tragedies and eventually triumph to compel readers to find triumphs in their own growth, where ever that may be in their current life. She pours out her heart time and time again as she shares childhood traumas and writes them out in a way that compels the reader to share or document what their younger self should have heard their older self say to excite renovation of life, soul and spirit within them. It is a passion of hers to see and hear the broken hearts mended and pain or grief stricken healed. She hopes to help someone, even if it’s just the one.
