My personal journey within a dark season affected my outcome and choices along the path of development to adulthood. My nursing career became a flickering light as it kept my mind focus and away from the existing problems. Caring and serving others provided me with diversity to culture, ethnicity, values and belief on a magnitude of authenticity words cannot express. It opened my eyes to death, pain, suffering, illness and miracles while at the same time it mirrored my physical emotional and spiritual bleeding within. The entire process was instrumental in my ability to navigate through the valley, ignite my faith, erase doubts and experienced God’s amazing Grace. God has definitely proved his faithfulness in my circumstances, provided restoration and miracles throughout my journey. However, after years of studying she proceeded on adventure in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. She proceeded to fulfill an education in Nursing, gaining a Bachelor and a Master’s degree. This experience provided her the opportunity to see life through the eyes of others, adapt to their culture, ethnicity and exposure to religious beliefs that solidify her faith in the Lord Jesus.
