After retiring he went into commercial transportation. During this time Shane began thinking about writing. The idea for My Enemy’s Keeper developed over many miles. Wm. Shane Dean resides in Boise Idaho with his lovely bride Roseanna. They have seven adult children and four grandchildren. Shane recently retired from the Idaho Department of Corrections.
