This book was written to share my deepest passion in writing–my poetry. Ever since I was a little girl, poetry has been a passion of mine. It has helped me through depression and heartache, happy times or sad, and has given me an outlet whenever I needed to make sense of the world around me. As a teenager, I would sit by the pond or up on the mountain writing poetry. I would dream of my future husband, my future children or being a published author. I would think about what it would be like to be a published author living in New York or by the sea, writing to encourage others to be who they were made to be. Today, after many years, I am seeing a lifelong dream come true. Let this be an encouragement to others to never give up on their dreams, and if they are going to dream, dream big. God is a big ole God who never breaks a promise or gives up on us, and always moving us into a position of victory to achieve our highest dreams. May everyone who reads this book be inspired and be given a sense of enjoyment in life for the simple things.
