As children, we all experience a moment of monster fear. When I was four years old, I woke up screaming that there was an alligator in my bed. I was so afraid, but my father showed me that it was just a shadow of my dolls hand. I never forgot that fear and how it turned out that it wasnt real. That is what this book is about. When we are young, we have fears we do not understand. If children can put an understanding of their fears, they can control how and when those fears appear to them and that sometimes they can be pretty silly.
