A lyrical, illustrated story told through a lens of magical reality. In the beginning, Tao is a baby who is born pure and at one with everything, with no emotions and no personality. As the boy grows up, these complex aspects of his character develop, magically appearing in his mirror as colored vines in his chest. Each color represents a different human emotion and how it affects the personality. He also has the ability to see these colored vines in other people, giving him insight into their personalities. In the end Tao frees himself and finds his true Self.
