The title of the book Safhe Khwaab Ke is self-defined, self-explanatory and full of emotions. The words expressed in the present compositions are quite simple and colloquial, spoken commonly such as ‘Chalo Na’, ‘Teri Maujudagi’, ‘Maine Khushi Ko Chuna’, ‘Mere Office Ke Raste Me’, ‘Masumiyat’ etc. The present collection of words, in a way, is substantially a collection of my remembrance. The ones which I relished in my dreams or the ones which touched my soul are collectively be rhymed as poems. While composing I gave my pen absolute freedom beyond restrictions, so readers may come across with words figuring homely stuff such as, ‘Snacks’, ‘Eye-brow’, ‘Khidkiya’ etc portraying the inner emotions. The poems are be rhymed, keeping in view of today’s era and environment. Some poems are meant to touch the hearts of love-birds, and some are there to exhibits colours of sentiments of separated lovers. It includes poems written for newly-wed spouses, as well as, poems depicting various shades of married life. Taking advantages of the painter in me, the poems of my collection such as ‘Mere Office Ka Corridor’, ‘Traffic Hawaldar’ ‘Saanjh’ ‘Alsaya Suraj’ are illustrated so lively that readers may experience as if they are enjoying it as live pictures on a screen.
Urdu words too are incorporated in many poems, but they don’t demand any dictionary to be comprehended. The collection of my poems is for all keen readers of all age groups. The first poem in the collection begins with the word ‘Maa’ which is reveredly devoted to my first guru i.e. my mother and moreover, the poems instilled with love and affection are somewhere inspired by my adorable better half.
