Kumar Saurabh completed his graduation from TNB College, Bhagalpur. He did his B.Ed from Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi University and MA from Delhi University. He qualified for NET JRF exam and is currently getting the Senior Research Fellowship awarded by University Grants Commission for his research. Currently, he is pursuing his Doctoral Research at Tezpur University, Assam on the topic: "The human values in the poetry of Kunwar Narayan".

Kumar Saurabh has participated in many debates and creative writing competitions and has won numerous prizes. He has presented papers at many national and international seminars. He is well versed in prose, poetry and literary criticism. He keeps writing for various newspapers and magazines.
