Being a spiritual and adventurous journey, Kailash Mansarovar Yatra has been attracting many travellers and devotees over the years. At the same time, due to some of its mysteries and spiritual beliefs, this place is a land of discovery for many scientists and one of spirituality for religious leaders.

Mount Kailash is a holy mountain like a huge Shivling located in Tibet (China), and Mansarovar Lake is a holy lake situated near this mountain. In Hinduism, where Mount Kailash is considered the abode of Lord Shiva, it has different beliefs in many religions.

In July 2018, the author joined a trip organized by the Ministry of External Affairs, along with a batch of 53 other passengers. The journey, which lasted about 22 days, was completed in 33 days due to many reasons. He has included some of his good experiences and every small aspect of the journey with his full writing power in this book.

It also contains information about the mythological beliefs associated with each place and some famous sightseeing places of the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand during the journey. Some experiences of the inner Kora Parikrama of Mount Kailash are also included in this book.
