This workbook is designed for use with the School to Career textbook. As you complete the activities in this workbook, you will review the facts and concepts presented in the text. The overall objective of these activities is to help you make a smooth transition from your classroom to a meaningful job in the workplace. The activities in this workbook are divided into chapters corresponding to the chapters in the text. By reading the text first, you have the information needed to complete the activities. Try to complete each activity without referring to the text, unless instructed to do so. Then check the text for answers to the questions you could not complete. Compare your answers with the information in the text.
The activities will help you gain the skills you need to succeed in the workplace. Some activities, such as true/false questions and math exercises, have "right" answers. Other activities ask you to evaluate various situations, make comparisons, or draw your own conclusions. These activities have neither "right" or "wrong" answers, as they are designed to stimulate creative thinking and help you develop ideas.
