Maggie, a young, over-worked lawyer with an intense fear of flying is startled awake by flight turbulence. She has no memory of the few hours leading up to the flight and no recollection of how she got on the plane in the first place. Maggie doesn’t have time to contemplate things as the flight goes horribly wrong and her plane plummets out of the sky, her worst nightmare come true. Maggie awakens on an unfamiliar beach, terrified, buried in sand. After a harrowing night alone, she is found and rescued by Will, the tall dark gentleman who briefly sat beside her on the plane. With no evidence of the wreckage and no other sign of life, Maggie and Will join forces to search for answers and to survive. As their dream of rescue grows dim, Maggie and Will grow close, finding in each other the soul mate they never found in their busy former reality. Together they discover that the tropical island they’re trapped on is less of a paradise and more of a prison. Maggie and Will can’t seem to escape their immediate surroundings. Whenever they fall asleep they awaken back in their first location and events in time seem to be on a loop. Maggie searches desperately for an answer to the riddle of the island, even as she begins to question reality itself. Will, on the other hand, is content to stay island-bound and live the remainder of his days without answers. When a means of escape presents itself, Maggie must choose between a way back home, and her newfound love - stuck in a perpetual paradise.
