When Fenn's sketchbook begins to act strange-backgrounds changing, trees swaying back and forth, unfinished drawings being completed on their own-he's reluctant to tell his two best friends, Miz and Reiny. But when he doesn't meet them after school, his friends immediately suspect it has something to do with his new obsession, the Quiet Man-the stitch-mouth villain he's been drawing so much of lately.
