Bird in Hand

Bird in Hand is the story how two people from seemingly different worlds fall in love while trying to save people they both love from a menacing drug dealer. Sparrow Wilson has built a life in Napa Valley living and working on a vineyard with the owners Marge and Walt. Her dream is to run Sunswept Vineyard for the older couple and become a well-known artist on the West Coast. Life is peaceful and productive for her in the small Napa town, unlike the way her life was a few short years ago when Walt had found her working at her second job in a San Francisco wine-tasting room. She was alone, broke, and broken back then.
On Sunswept Vineyard, she feels whole and needed. She thinks she has found her place until someone kidnaps her close friend and employer’s wife, Marge, and murders her employer right under her nose! The local police, including a handsome, but odd, detective promise to do all they can to get Marge back. To help take care of the property and arrange for a funeral for Walt, Sparrow is forced to call in the estranged nephew of Walt and Marge and the only family they have left. Chris is the multi-millionaire owner of a tech start-up from Seattle and the cover of Forbes magazine and GQ all rolled into one. Sparrow and Chris have absolutely nothing in common, except for the drive to get Marge back, and back alive. Who knew that they would fall in love along the way, deal with a jealous stalker, bust up a drug dealing ring, and save the day?
