The Lettuce Family was inspired by Feliz’s daughter, Linda. That was many years ago, but she did learn to enjoy many kinds of delicious and healthy plants. Feliz wants to encourage many more children to improve their health and lives by proper choices when eating. And think how much easier it will be for parents when their children will beg for all sorts of vegetables instead of just cakes, cookies and candy!

The Lettuce Family is not just a book for children. It is also for parents! Even though it is fiction, it is a reality that no one can ignore. As such, we should appeal to every family in the world!
