This book is an accumulation of prayers, poems, and prose written over the last sixty years. My Special Prayer was written when I was at my first church camp. I was eight years old. If We Had Peace was written at age twelve. The rest were written when with my grandparents in the summer on a lake in Michigan, school assignments, and just being with God in many situations.

My walk with God began in Kalamazoo, Michigan, at age three. God and I have held hands and walked together throughout my sixty-four years. I’ve known Him since before I knew how to pray.
