Modern Carpentry

This Workbook has been prepared for use with the Modern Carpentry textbook. The workbook is designed to help you in your study of carpentry. It will reinforce your understanding of the correct procedures and the vast amount of technical information connected with the trade. The chapters in the workbook correlate with those in the textbook. The order of the individual questions and problems also follow the same sequence as the textbook material. This will make it easier for you to find information in the textbook when checking your answers. To make this workbook a more effective guide to learning, we suggest that you first study the assigned material in the textbook. As you study, pay close attention to both the text and the illustrations. The drawings and photographs contain a great deal of important information. Study each illustration and its caption carefully until you understand what it is conveying.
