In most cases showing they had family, and were a son or a daughter, a brother or sister, the father or mother of a person. The book also tells where the places were and even in the meanings of their names, there is great significance. For every person and place written in the Bible, there is a specific reason, whether for the meaning of the name of a person as in the name Adam (man, red earth) or in the name of a place, as in Bethel (house of God). It will be very enlightening and edifying to see and understand their significance as this book is used as a study help.
