I appreciate the allegory of the triumph of good over evil in this poem, especially as it is accomplished by the golden eagle’s willingness to lay down his life for those he loves. This reflects very well the sacrifice Christ Jesus made for the world on the cross when he gave up his life to win us victory over sin and death. Well done! Pastor Murray Keith
