We've finally found my long-lost grandmother, and I refuse to wait another day to meet her in person. Unfortunately, she's proving rather difficult to pin down.

So Charles and I decide to finish our search on the ground and book a quirky lakeside B&B to serve as our HQ while we're in the area.

But because nothing is ever easy, we stumble across mystery after mystery while simply trying to get a good night's sleep. Precious items from our luggage keep going missing, the door to our room won't close properly, and bad reviews online hint at even worse things to come. Of course, the ill-tempered proprietress and her even crazier Persian cat refuse to help-or even to apologize.

All of which makes me wonder, will I finally get to meet my missing grandma face-to-face, or could the trouble at the inn have us packing our bags long before then?
