Returning to Brigid’s Island, NC, for the funeral of her mother, Shakespeare scolar Summer wants to sell her mom’s bookstore and go home. But when she finds threating notes addressed to her mother, is is clear something’s rotten on Brigid’s Island. The police insist there’s not enough evidence to launch a murder investigation, so Summer, her aunt and the local book club start sleuthing. But there are more suspects on Brigid’s Island than are dreamt of in the Bard’s darkest tales. And if they can’t solve the case, the town will be left with a Shakespearean tragedy’s worth of corpses…
