Joy is a Jewish girl growing up in Brookline MA in the 1950’s and 60’s. Caught in a love triangle between two young men and suffering under a troubled relationship with her mother, Joy must navigate the complications of faith, familial expectations, and her own desires in order to gain control of her life.
