Moments in Time: A Collection of Some of My Favorite Short Stories

Moments in Time is a collection of short stories about people making choices. Every moment of your life you make a choice, a good one or a bad one. Each moment, each choice will direct your life. What will your future be? Sometimes, you get help. A stranger suddenly appears out of nowhere to help you and then is as suddenly gone. An angel, perhaps? A memory from years ago pops into your mind giving you an answer you need right now. Feeling lost, you may close your eyes and pray and when you open them, you know just what to do. Are these the hand of God intervening? Or maybe you think to yourself, this was just a coincidence. But was it? Her husband died and now the house burned, there’s nothing left—or is there; lonely, she entered the antique shop, but as she looked around she thought, I must be imagining, this can’t be real; peeking through the curtain she wondered fearfully who the man was and why he was watching their house; homeless, hiding in the Mall of America but when the mall closes—it’s freezing outside; terrified, she runs from the soldiers looking for a place to hide, then she hears a sound; the wheelchair is empty now, his life ended but is his spirit still here; she watched as he raged drunkenly, running, falling but there was nowhere for him to go; the children trusted her to save them but, how? Help, what should I do?! The future is waiting. What choice will you make in this moment in time?
