O'Neill’s Land is the story of a young man, Erin O'Neill, who experiences a couple riveting visitations, precipitated by an old old man whose presence he could not understand. After the second of these visits he finds that the man who he thought was his grandfather was really his father. He is given a book, a chronicle of his father’s life. He finds that his grandfather (father), the patriarch of their family is more than two thousand years old, and it is he who is destined to replace him. He is then sent to Ireland to learn more about his real identity. Upon his return to the States he finds that his girlfriend is pregnant, and now knowing that his family will never accept a child born to anyone outside the family, he has no alternative but to flee. It is a love story and adventure of mounting intrigue.
