In the near future, scientists discover a flickering artificial sun headed towards Earth. Code named Deimos , this alien threat becomes the impetus for a massive outworld colonization program, the creation of an army of mechs to defend the planet, and a bioengineering initiative to adapt the human race to survive the apocalypse. THE BIO-MECH WAR: SPACE TURTLES

Fourteen-year-old Ivan is fitted with neural nodes to help pilot a Russian generation ship. When his parents are killed on a colony mission through the black hole, Ivan is drafted as a pilot for the Junior Rangers. On the latest mission, colonists are pulled into the middle of a planet wide civil war. During the fighting, Junior Rangers discover that their doctor’s neural scanner produces files that can be imported into a mech’s brain.
