Penuche: The Grande Dame Feline

Penuche, The Grand Dame Feline (Volume I), is the story of a special cat who lived to be 23 years old. Found in a paper bag alongside the railroad tracks in the small town of Ashland, Virginia, Penuche, the cat featured in this narrative, tells the story of her first five years. Written by her ‘Mom’, the story is a funny and heart-warming tale of how cats see the world and how this special cat maneuvers the dynamics of her new family. The book is a short memoir written by Gayle Hylton, who currently resides in a memory care facility and is living with dementia. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.
