Cuando tu naciste/When you were born

Esta es una pieza literaria excepcional, de clara congruencia visual y poetica, para compartirse con personas de todas las edades. Como Profesora Universitaria en Educacion de Diversidad Cultural y Lingu .stica, es mi deseo incorporar este poema y el sentimiento especial que emana de las ilustraciones a mi plan universitario de estudios.

This is an exceptional literary piece, visually and poetically congruous. A delightful work to be shared with audiences of all ages. As a Professor of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education, I look forward to incorporate this poem and the unique approach to the illustrations into my course curriculum.

Me encanta eso de ponerle arte a las palabras. Eso es lo que sucede en este poema en el que la claridad y sencillez de las ideas comulgan en armonia con las formas y el color.

Gilberto, docente de formacion y artista apasionado nos comparte su sentimiento de amor por un recien nacido. Por su parte, Gloria nos hace una interpretaciongrafica de las palabras que es organica y refrescante.

Como cuando la lluvia lava el entorno y la naturaleza deja ver lo propio con un brillo especial.

I love the idea of weaving art and words. That is what I found in this piece where clarity and simplicity of ideas meet harmoniously with poetic forms and colors.

Gilberto, and educator and passionate artist, shares with the audience what is like to love a newborn. In turn, Gloria transforms the words into a graphic interpretation that is both organic and refreshing, as if looking at the special sparkling of surroundings after the rain washes them over.
