She has gone through trials and tribulation. She knew that God's grace was sufficient for her and that her strength is made perfect in her weakness. If God's people, who are called by His name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek His face and turn from their wicked ways, then will they hear from heaven and God will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
