For years, I didn't know what to do with my poems so I write them in tablets and put them in my closet. They didn't stay there for long. I took one to Sunday school one day, and that is how it took off. I called a local radio station to read poem's segment. After I read a poem on air, the DJ invited me to come to a Saturday morning prayer breakfast.

I went to the library and the local bookstore and got three hundred addresses. I wrote to them and receive responses from some of them that were very encouraging and uplifting. A few of them that answered me was Queen Elizabeth, Princess Diana, President Obama, Bill Cosby, Maya Angelou, the president of Amtrak, and Pastor John Hagee.

To be at this point in my life is amazing. I pray you enjoy these poems. May they encourage your heart.
