An injured fox is rescued by Merlin's raven. Together with the wizard's apprentice a deer mouse, a goddess of Avalon, a small fox, and a raven are able to heal the king of a strange malady. In time the deer mouse (Allowishes), the goddess (Morgaine), the fox (Flynn), and the raven (Fechin) discover King Arthur has been poisoned. Each member of the group must perform specialized deeds in order to save the king. Should they perform their tasks well, they are offered their greatest wish to be granted.
Dee was born in Rochester New York. Currently, she resides in the Chicago area in a small town called Channahon. One of her grandsons (Nik) lives with her.
Writing rebuttals to Phil Donahue was her training for the craft of writing. Writing fantasy has become her rebuttal of the current situation in the world. The reality of the world is harsh and each of us needs to escape into a fantasy.
Dee has been widowed for many years. The time passed has not diminished her love for her husband (Bill.) Her love for foxes is the driving force of her writing. It is her greatest hope that many readers find their solace in reading her fox tales.
