Kerri Barna has been an elementary teacher for thirty years. She loves teaching and helping her students see the importance of self-confidence, kindness, and community found in their classroom.

Barna is a partner to a wonderful man who has supported her throughout this process. She is also a mom of two beautiful girls. Barna's daughters have been her biggest supporters, reading hundreds of drafts and listening to thousands of ideas while always remaining patient and helpful.
