The Oklahoma oil boom of the 1970s followed by the oil bust of the 1980s presented many highs and lows. Sitting at her breakfast table recently, Elizabeth made a profound discovery. In the center of the table were roses cut from a bush that Paul had planted years ago. Their fragrance reminded her of the many roses he had given her throughout the years.
