Life moves on in the post-apocalyptic world, after being ravaged by The Infinite. But not all is well. Survivors who previously were held captive by The Infinite's alien forces are now beginning to hear things. Just a little at first, and then more. As they slowly become unhinged from reality, others begin to notice, and they have their suspicions as to why. The Infinite returns, and this time Marty and his friends will have to fight harder than ever to secure their freedom. But will it be enough? The Infinite Cycle (previously titled The Saga of I) focuses on a virus that has escaped a medical facility and infected humans, transforming them into horrible creatures. But their transformation is far from complete, their end goal not fully apparent to anyone until it's too late.
