Guardians of Time is a sequel to Time Machine Emergency. It continues on as an extension of the same book. But the focus of the new book changed a bit after the discovery of multiple time threads, which gave them a choice to jump into many similar, but slightly different worlds. The main objective is the same: to escape a perishing world and get to a better world…a utopia. The characters have to go back and try to change many different parts of history, namely the Chinese Civil War where they assisted in WWll, and the Americans fight the Japanese at Pearl Harbor. They also have to deal with their counter-selves, sometimes giving advice to them about the future. Sometimes they held meetings with them…all 7 characters discussing things with their 7 counter-parts.
I took Music Education in college, and now can play piano by ear, compose and arrange music for orchestra and choir. I have come to believe there is a connection between music and creative writing. I was inspired to write when my wife published a book. I thought, why can’t I do this too? I did, and my two books got decent reviews, and one got very good reviews. I wanted to know what would happen if real people were put in the position of my characters. I guess I won’t know for sure, but I came as close as possible when writing all my books. I try to make them real, and at the same time add sci/fi to the mix, and the result turns out semi-believable.
