7 Dogs to the Rescue: Go to Rescue Recruit School

After twenty-eight years in the fire rescue service with the final fourteen years spent in training, Lieutenant Patrick Gallagher moved to educate children about life in the fire rescue industry. His seven dogs are the are the main characters in this educational story as they enter the fire academy and respond to rescue calls. From Gallagher’s experience, he finds this method of storytelling as a fun and informative way for children to see how folks from all walks of life and with different talents can gather together to learn skills and help each other protect and save lives. His many years’ experience as a paramedic and educating new recruits provides valuable insight to children who have an interest in the world of fire rescue and safety.
