The Adventures of Walter Worm and Benjamin Blue Jay

A serious storm in a suburban New Jersey neighborhood throws together two young creatures on opposite ends of the food chain--a worm and a blue jay. Together they now have a common purpose: to find their lost family members, who were separated from them in the storm.

While searching, Walter Worm and Benjamin Blue Jay soon realize they will need help finding their missing families. Help comes from two of their neighbors--an owl and a squirrel--each of whom is a respected scientist. These two will create equipment for Walter and Benjamin, allowing them to travel together into the big world beyond their backyard.
