In 1993, "Don't ask, don't tell," is brutally enforced throughout the military. Every LBGTQ+ service member must lie about who they are, or risk losing everything. This is the world Lt. Sofie Sanchez enters to start her career as a nurse. Leaving small town judgments and family demands behind, she has big plans, and the Air Force is the first step. At the high-pressure pilot training base, she finds a secret community of friends and a certain intriguing woman pilot.

New T-37 instructor pilot Lt. Gillian Guthman is everything a military pilot should be--smart, aggressive, and very self-confident. As her career takes off, she's medically grounded and has to seek specialized care from Lt. Sanchez if she ever wants to fly again.

Under constant scrutiny, they have to conceal a growing forbidden attraction, navigate the hazards of military life, and not get caught. Can they pay the price for freedom and have a chance for real love?
